These days I can't fathom that I used to regularly watch Nova TV not so long ago. What used to be refreshing challenge to state-run HRT now turned into pathetic wreck of their former self, outclassed both by HRT and RTL Televizija – the latter being disappointment in its own right.
One of the aspects of Nova TV's obvious decline is reduction of air time from 24 to 15 hours of day. And this leaves annoyingly little time for films and TV shows to be replayed throughout the day.
Including Lost, the only show that I happen to watch regularly. "Watching regularly" in my case means having each of the episode recorded and watched later. Which is fine until you happen to be prevented from recording it. On Tuesday, it took only few minutes for almost three months of comprehensive viewing experience to be ruined when I failed to record first 15 minutes of "…In Translation".
If such thing happened with the shows aired on HRT or RTL Televizija, it wouldn't have been a problem. The episodes would have been replayed next day or few hours later. But not in case of Nova TV.
Small but precious part of the Lost is irrevocably lost to me.
