Changes in Croatian Blogosphere

Željko Peratović (Zeljko Peratovic), one of few Croatian journalists who also happens to be regular blogger, just got fired from Vjesnik because he breeched contract by publishing an interview for Feral Tribune. Peratović claims that there was political background for that decision.

In the meantime, it seems that Renata Sopek, sexiest Croatian woman in 1994 according to the panel of Globus weekly, after failing to promote herself on Internet in one way, found another. Index.hr reports that Renata Sopek started her own blog. So far, the "blog" in question is nothing more than one article she wrote on RTL official pages describing everyday work on her legendary weather forecasts. I would hesitate to call Ms. Sopek a blogger before her efforts in that area receive some measure of regularity.
